Michael Hunt is a Senior Software Engineer at SecureGive, where contributions include developing FinTech products for churches and non-profit organizations since August 2025. Previously, Michael served as a Senior Software Engineer at TaxSlayer, focusing on scalable backend solutions for processing millions of tax returns annually. Michael's experience at SecureGive began in October 2018 as a Software Engineer, later advancing to Tech Lead, and involved significant projects like a multi-tenant CRM integration and a payments API that increased non-profit donations during the Covid-19 pandemic. Earlier, Michael worked as a Software Developer at Powerserve and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, having completed a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems and Applied Mathematics at Georgia College & State University.
