Babil G. Sarwar

Babil G. Sarwar has a comprehensive work experience spanning several prestigious companies and research institutions. Babil began their career as a Research Assistant at National ICT Australia (NICTA) in 2006 and later became a Research Engineer. Babil also joined the Scalable and Adaptive Internet Solutions (SAIL) Project as a Researcher, contributing to the design of future network architectures. In 2009, Babil pursued a PhD in cotutelle with ISAE & Université de Toulouse and the University of New South Wales. During this time, they held various roles such as Graduate Researcher, Software Engineer, and PhD Candidate. Babil further expanded their knowledge and expertise as a Visiting Research Scholar at Palo Alto Research Center (PARC, Xerox). In 2014, Babil joined Vysk Communications Inc as the Chief Information Security Officer, responsible for analyzing secure systems and designing global networked systems architecture. Babil transferred to SecureLogix in 2017, taking on roles as Chief Scientist and Vice President of Research. Babil's work experience showcases their proficiency in research, network security, and system analysis.

Babil G. Sarwar completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical Engineering at UNSW from 2009 to 2013. During the same period, they also pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Telecommunication, System Design and Architecture at ISAE-SUPAERO, which lasted until 2014. Prior to these doctoral studies, Babil earned a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering at UNSW from 2007 to 2009. Additionally, they obtained a Masters degree in Telecommunications at UNSW from 2006 to 2007. Finally, Babil completed another Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Telecommunication, System Design and Architecture at Université Toulouse - Jean Jaurès from 2009 to 2014.
