Russ Rogers is a seasoned cybersecurity professional and educator with extensive experience in incident response, recovery, and program management. Currently serving on the Advisory Board for SecureMac and as Principal Security Program Manager for Xbox at Microsoft, Russ has held significant roles in various organizations, including Vice President of BSides Las Vegas and Co-Chair of The No Starch Press Foundation's Mentorship Committee. With a strong foundation in academia as a former Professor and Program Chair of Network Security at UAT, Russ has contributed to the hacker community through vital positions at Black Hat and DEF CON. Educational qualifications include multiple degrees in Computer Systems Management and Game Programming, showcasing a diverse technical background.
