Shakeel Tufail

Shakeel Tufail has a long and successful career in the IT industry. Shakeel began their career in 1994 as a General Manager at CompUSA, where they managed two stores with sales in excess of $50 million each, and was responsible for all aspects of business including retail and corporate sales, operations, training, financials, human resources, warehouse, and technical services. Shakeel then moved to America Online in 1999, where they worked as a Software Release Manager. In 2003, they founded SecureNinja Cybersecurity Training & Services, where they served as CEO and Managing Partner/Executive. In 2006, they joined Cigital as a Managing Consultant (Security), and in 2010 they took on the role of Director (Software Security Solutions, Global) at HP Enterprise Security. Shakeel also worked as Deputy Program Manager/Information Assurance Security Manager at the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) from 2005-2010.

Shakeel Tufail has a background in Management Information Systems and Services from Excelsior University and Computer Science from George Mason University. Shakeel has also obtained certifications from CompTIA, Cisco, EC-Council, (ISC)2, Microsoft, and Project Management Institute. These certifications include CompTIA Linux+ (Powered by LPI) Certification, CompTIA CySA+ ce Certification, A+ / Network+ / Security+ / Project+, CCNA / CCNP, CEH / ECSA / CHFI, CISSP / CSSLP, MCITP / MCSE, and PMP.
