Daeman Stewart

Daeman Stewart has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of information security and telecommunications. Daeman began their career at Primus Telecommunications Canada Inc. in 1999, where they worked as a Corporate Technical Support. In 2002, they joined SecureOps as a Network Security Analyst and eventually transitioned to the role of Team Leader & Incident Handler in 2004. From 2007 to 2011, Daeman served as the Assistant Manager of the Managed Security Services Division at SecureOps. In 2012, they took on the role of InfoSec Project Manager, where they successfully managed various Information Security Projects and contributed to the business development and customer acquisition process. Daeman then progressed to become the Director of Operations at SecureOps in 2014, before assuming their current position as Vice President of Operations since 2020. Throughout their career, Daeman demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in driving operational excellence and delivering effective information security solutions.

Daeman Stewart began their education journey in 1996 when they attended Concordia University for a year of independent studies. In 1998, they enrolled in GP Learning Technologies and completed a degree in Information Technology, specifically earning the MCSE (Microsoft Certified System Engineer) certification. In 2004, Daeman attended the SANS Institute where they obtained the GSEC (Security Essentials Certification) in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance.

Finally, in 2014, Daeman pursued further education in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance by enrolling in the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC)². Here, they earned the CISSP certification.
