Preeti Agarwal

Preeti Agarwal is a software engineer with over 20 years of experience. Preeti is currently Co-Founder and CTO of SecureThings since 2022. From 2002 to present, they worked at Symantec as a Sr. Principal Software Engineer, Technical Lead and Architect, and Sr. Software Engineer. Prior to that, they were a Sr. Member Technical Staff at Network Programs India Ltd. from 1999 to 2002 and a Software Engineer at Cyber Quest Systems from 1998 to 1999. During their time at Symantec, they evangelized next generation security solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT) verticals like connected cars and industrial control systems. Preeti also developed a deep packet inspection for industrial protocols IEC 104, IEC 61850, DNP3, etc. using a heuristic-based, protocol agnostic approach.

Preeti Agarwal's education history began in 1978 when they attended St. Patrick's College in Agra and completed their Junior College degree in 1992. Preeti then attended Agra University and earned a BSc. in 1995 in the fields of Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. In 1998, Preeti earned a Master of Computer Application (MCA) from the Institute of Basic Sciences in Agra, majoring in Computer Science.
