Laurence O'Toole

Laurence O'Toole is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various technology companies. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering at SecureW2 since March 2025, Laurence previously held positions such as Senior Director of Engineering and Director of Engineering at Matillion from February 2022 to March 2025. Prior roles include Head of Engineering for the Learning Management Platform and Head of Architecture at PeopleFluent from May 2018 to February 2022, as well as Technical Team Lead at American Express from May 2015 to May 2018. Laurence also contributed as a Sub Contracted Senior Software Engineer on the Atlas Project at EMC between November 2013 and February 2015. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from University College Cork, attained in 1998, and a Leaving Certificate from Bruce College Cork, completed in 1993.
