Peter Chestna serves as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of North America at Checkmarx since July 2021, while also holding the position of Strategic Advisor at Katilyst Security. In addition, Peter is an Advisory Council Member at SecureWorld and Contributing Editor at both SecurityBoulevard.com and DevOps.com, roles held since 2017. Peter's involvement extends to the DevSecCon Global Community as a CFP Review Board Member, with previous advisory roles at MergeBase and BMO Financial Group, contributing expertise in application security and risk assessments. Peter began the career at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, earning a B.S. in Computer Science.
