Drew Smith

Drew Smith, CFA has a strong background in the investment management industry. Drew began their career at Voyageur Asset Mgt. in 1992, where they worked in product development until 1997. In 1997, they joined Advantus Capital Management as a Due Diligence Analyst, and eventually worked their way up to the role of Vice President, Sr. Inv. Officer Alt. Assets. Drew held various positions at Advantus, including Director-Due Diligence and Vice President, Investment Officer Alt. Assets. Drew's expertise spans alternative assets, due diligence, and investment analysis.

Drew Smith, CFA, holds an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management, which they obtained from 2007 to 2009. Drew also holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and German from the University of Rochester, which they obtained from 1982 to 1986. In addition to their degrees, Drew has obtained several certifications throughout their career, including a Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute in 2022, a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) certification from the CAIA Association in 2005, and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute in 2000.
