Mike Murphy

Mike Murphy has over 28 years of work experience. Mike began their career in 1993 as the Parts Manager at Saturn of Woodbridge. In 2001, they moved to Vantage eSystems as a System Integrator. In 2002, they became the Client Services Manager at 1ShoppingCart.com, and in 2003 they were promoted to General Manager at the same company. In 2006, they joined Web.com as the Director of Security & Compliance and later as the Director of Network Infrastructure and Security. In 2021, they became the Director of PCI & IT Compliance at Newfold Digital (formerly Web.comGroup). Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed as the Director of Consulting at Securisea.

Mike Murphy has an education history that spans from 1985 to 2022. Mike attended St Joseph Scollard Hall from 1985 to 1989, RCC Institute of Technology from 1989 to 1991, and Canadore College from 1991 to 1993. Mike'sfield of study included Electronics and Computer Technology at RCC Institute of Technology, and Robotics and Computer Programming at Canadore College. In addition, they have obtained various certifications from institutions such as ISACA and the PCI Security Standards Council, including Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), PCIP, and Qualified Security Assessor (QSA).
