Daniel Perkins

Daniel Perkins has a diversified work experience in the field of information technology and security. Daniel is currently working as a Senior Information Security Officer at SecurIT360 since March 2021. Prior to this, Daniel worked at SSI SCHÄFER from 2014 to 2021, where they held the positions of Information Security Officer and Corporate IT Manager. In their role as Corporate IT Manager, they were responsible for IT management, leading a team, and overseeing the implementation and operation of Microsoft Dynamics AX. Before SSI SCHÄFER, Daniel worked at Forshaw Inc as an IT Director/Manager from 2008 to 2014, where they managed IT operations, performed data analysis, and led the implementation and operation of Microsoft Dynamics ERP. Daniel started their career at Controls Southeast, Inc in 2007 as an IT Administrator, handling network and server administration, as well as project management. Prior to that, they were an Operations Analyst/IT Administrator at Zapata Incorporated from 2004 to 2007.

Daniel Perkins completed their education at Gardner-Webb University, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in 2017. Prior to that, they attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering. In addition to their degrees, Daniel has obtained several certifications, including Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA in September 2021, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in September 2019, and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in January 2019.
