Tim Stead

Tim Stead has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity sales engineering and management. Tim is currently the Sales Engineering Director, APAC at Securiti, a leader in AI-powered data privacy, security, and governance. Before joining Securiti in April 2021, Tim worked at McAfee as a Cloud Architect - APAC from August 2019 to March 2021 and as a Cloud SE Manager - APAC from January 2018 to August 2019.

Prior to McAfee, Tim served as the SE Manager - APAC at Skyhigh Networks from February 2016 to January 2018 and as a Sales Engineer from August 2014 to January 2016. Before that, they worked at Websense as a Sales Engineering Manager from April 2013 to August 2014 and as a Senior Sales Engineer from September 2011 to April 2013.

Earlier in their career, Tim was a Solution Architect at Dimension Data from January 2008 to August 2011. Tim began their career at Allasso where they worked as a Pre-Sales Engineer from 2001 to 2004.

Tim Stead attended Charters School, Sunningdale from 1988 to 1995, earning 3 A-Levels in Physics, Design & Technology, and Physical Education. Tim then pursued their higher education at Farnborough College of Technology from 1996 to 1998, obtaining an HND in Electronics & Computer System Engineering.
