Jason Shaw is an experienced actuary and educator with a strong background in statistics and actuarial science. Currently serving as an ALM Actuarial Associate at Security Benefit since July 2019, Jason has previously held academic positions, including Assistant Professor of Statistics & Actuarial Science at Washburn University and Associate Professor and Chair of Statistics at Truman State University. Jason's teaching expertise includes upper-level mathematics and statistical courses, as well as actuarial science. Jason holds a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Mathematical Statistics and Probability from Indiana University Bloomington, along with a B.A. in Mathematics from Iowa State University.
