Kurt Auleta

Kurt Auleta has a diverse and extensive work experience in the financial industry. Kurt has worked at Security Benefit as the Senior Vice President & Head of Sales for the Western U.S., where they led the distribution and go-to-market strategy for 24 states. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Vice President, Head of Inside Sales and Distribution Operations, where they reported to the CEO and partnered with channel sales managers to establish strategic direction and ensure tactical execution in target markets. Kurt led sales operations/distribution efforts and was responsible for resource allocation, business planning, compensation programs, organizational performance, and technology initiatives.

Before joining Security Benefit, Kurt Auleta worked at AXA US, where they held various leadership positions. Kurt was the Chief Operating Officer & Head of Distribution, leading the defined contribution business and having direct responsibility for product and marketing, financial controls, performance reporting, sales force compensation, and business development. Additionally, they served as the Chief Strategy Officer, leading strategic planning efforts and delivering initiative execution for Variable Annuity Wholesale Distribution. Kurt also held the roles of Vice President: National Sales Manager Inside Sales, Vice President: National Sales Desk Director, and Vice President: Product Implementation & Service Group, where they led and supervised internal sales efforts, managed training departments, developed growth initiatives, and coordinated sales strategies.

Kurt Auleta began their career at TIAA-CREF, where they worked as an Institutional Account Manager, managing and expanding Defined Contribution Plans for large ERISA plan sponsors. Kurt was also a Financial Consultant and Retirement Plan Counselor.

Kurt Auleta holds a BA in Management from Gettysburg College and an MBA in Marketing from the New York Institute of Technology. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained several certifications including the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist certification from The American College of Financial Services, the Missouri Life Insurance & Annuity Licensed certification from the Missouri Department of Commerce & Insurance, and the Series 6, 63 & 26 certifications from FINRA.
