Maxim Kustov has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Maxim started their career in 1992 as a Researcher (Theoretical Mechanics) at the Institute for Applied Mathematics, Russian Academy of Sciences. Maxim worked there until 1997.
In 2003, Kustov joined Goodwin+ as the Head of the Software Department and remained in that role until 2009.
From 2009 to 2013, they worked at infotek as the Head of the Software/Hardware Department.
Kustov then joined RTSoft in 2013 as the Head of the Department, a position they held until 2017.
Maxim then joined Kaspersky Lab in 2017 as the Head of the Research and Development Group, where they worked until 2019.
Currently, Kustov is the Head of the Research and Development Group at Security Code starting from November 2019.
Maxim Kustov obtained their specialist degree in celestial mechanics from Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University) between 1986 and 1992. Following that, they pursued further education as a postgraduate student at the Institute of Applied Mathematics, Russian Academy of Science from 1992 to 1997, specializing in Applied Mathematics.
