Deepu Filji

Deepu Filji has a diverse work experience, primarily in product management and engineering roles. They currently hold the position of Senior Product Manager at Security Compass, where they started in February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Product Manager at Security Compass from March 2020 to January 2023.

Before joining Security Compass, Deepu worked as a Technical Product Manager at Invoice Delivery Services Inc. from November 2017 to February 2020.

They also have experience in the cybersecurity industry, having held Technical Product Manager roles at CryptoMill Cybersecurity Solutions from January 2013 to June 2017. Prior to that, they served as a Technical Project Manager from September 2011 to December 2012 and as a Software Engineer from May 2011 to August 2011 at the same company.

Deepu started their career at Minacs, where they worked in customer/product support from November 2010 to April 2011.

Their earliest experience can be traced back to Celestica, where they worked as an Operations Engineering Support from September 2008 to September 2010. In this role, Deepu performed failure analysis, collaborated with on-site/customer engineers, developed standard operating procedures, and liaised with various teams to improve product line failure rates.

Deepu Filji completed a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University from 2004 to 2008. In 2010, Deepu obtained a college certification in Computer Network Security Administration from Centennial College. In addition to their formal education, Deepu has obtained several certifications including Product Strategy from Kellogg Executive Education in June 2021, Advanced Product Management (APM) Certification from Product Faculty in September 2019, Master the OWASP Top 10 from LinkedIn in May 2019, Product Management: Building a Product Strategy from LinkedIn in April 2019, Product Management: Building a Product Roadmap from LinkedIn in March 2019, and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in January 2020.
