Gregory Hatt

Gregory Hatt has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Gregory started their career as a Security Supervisor at the University of King's College, where they managed employee payroll, work schedules, and conducted performance reviews.

Gregory then worked as an Interviewer at Statistics Canada, where they conducted interviews to collect statistical information from respondents and adapted to changing operational requirements.

At Eastlink, Gregory worked as a Co-op Student and developed programs using various technologies to identify and archive orphaned web content, reducing the size of the company's internal website significantly.

As a Co-op Student at CGI, Gregory supported, developed, and tested applications using Java and KDB+ and configured IBM uDeploy for new applications.

At IBM, Gregory worked as a Bluemix Developer, developing web applications using Node, Angular, and Express as well as supporting and guiding other internal development teams in using and configuring IBM's Bluemix platform.

Gregory then joined Colibri Software as an Intermediate Full Stack Developer, where they worked with technologies such as Vue, TypeScript, Django, Node, and Python.

At Nautel, as a Senior Software Developer, Gregory worked on a full-stack project using TypeScript, Vue2, and Django. Gregory created audio analysis tools and visualizations using p5.js and developed a mock transmitter API.

Most recently, Gregory joined Security Compass as a Senior Software Engineer in 2021, where they are currently working.

Gregory Hatt began their education at the University of King's College, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in English between the years 2006 and 2010. Gregory then continued their education at Nova Scotia Community College - NSCC from 2013 to 2015, where they obtained a Diploma in Computer Programming/Programmer, General. In addition to their formal education, Gregory also obtained additional certifications, including being certified as an IBM Design Thinking Practitioner by IBM in July 2016 and receiving the Certified Scrum Master designation from the Scrum Alliance in June 2016.
