Michelle Funcke

Michelle Funcke has had multiple roles throughout their work experience. Michelle began working at Rhodes University in 2012 as a Tutor, where they were responsible for assisting students with Physics problems and practicals. Michelle then worked at InstaEDU from 2013 to 2015 as a Mathematics Tutor, helping students with math and basic Python and physics. In 2015, they joined Derivco as a Quality Analyst and stayed with the company until 2018. At Security Compass, they held the position of Quality Analyst from 2018 to 2021 and is currently working there as a Software Engineer.

Michelle Funcke obtained their National Senior Certificate from Fields College in 2008. In 2008, they also completed an AS-level in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge International Examinations. From 2009 to 2012, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physics and Mathematics at Rhodes University. Michelle then continued their education at Rhodes University from 2012 to 2013, completing a Bachelor of Science with Honours (BScH) in Physics and Mathematics. Finally, from 2013 to 2015, they earned their Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Mathematics from Rhodes University.
