Mina M.

Lead Cyber Security Researcher at Security Compass

Mina M. has a strong background in cyber security and software engineering. From 2016 to the present, Mina has been working at Security Compass as a Lead Cyber Security Researcher. In this role, they are responsible for managing a team of researchers and conducting various types of cyber security research. They also attend and present at conferences, create content for the SD Element product to teach IT teams how to secure their products, develop training courses in the information security field, and publish white-papers and research for different cyber security journals. Prior to this, Mina worked as a Lead Software Engineer at Social Asset Measurements from 2012 to 2015, and as a Software Engineer at Canadian Wireless from 2011 to 2012.

Mina M. obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in IT Business from Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) from 2004 to 2007. Mina later pursued a Masters degree in IT Security from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT), which they completed from 2009 to 2010.
