Who we are

Security Group is based in Bristol and operates here and in Bath, the Forest of Dean, Chepstow, Clevedon and Trowbridge.

We offer high quality security systems and are certified by the Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board (SSAIB). We specialise in designing, installing, maintaining and repairing intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems. We can also ensure your fire alarm system is maintained.
We do this for business owners and large property owners helping to protect their commercial and residential properties with bespoke security systems that will meet their specific needs.

The business was originally set up by Dave Thomas in 1996 and was family-owned until June 2020 when it was bought by Ecl-ips, a Worcestershire-based company specialising in CCTV, access control and monitoring systems.

Ecl-ips has the same ethos as Security Group, focusing on high quality tested products and services delivered by highly qualified and experienced engineers. Security Group customers will continue to enjoy the high level of service they have received for over 20 years.

Who we work with

From our Bristol base, we can offer a comprehensive range of security solutions focusing on commercial and larger residential properties. With cloud and on-premise options we can provide solutions which allow business owners to easily manage the security across several sites as well as their homes.
Customers frequently recommend us to colleagues, friends and family and our business has grown largely through referral - you can read some of the great customer feedback we get on our website.

High quality systems

You need a security system that is both robust and utterly reliable; to ensure this we only use the highest quality components, products and equipment. All of our systems are tried and tested, user friendly, easy to maintain and fully guaranteed.
