Hussein Syed

Hussein Syed is the Chief Information Security Officer at RWJBarnabas Health, an integrated healthcare delivery network in New Jersey. He is responsible for the organization’s information security program. Hussein and his team are responsible for security management planning and execution to align with the strategic goals of the health system. He has more than 22 years of experience in IT, of which 12 years are in information security. Hussein is on the CHIME/AEHIS board, and served as the chair of the board for 2015. He has spoken at Gartner, HIMSS, and TCG events and participated in other security related events.
