Mark Peterson

Director, National Security Services at Securityhunter

Mark Peterson has worked in the security industry since 2005. Mark began their career at BAE as a Physical Security Specialist, where they provided professional analysis and review of project designs for the Department of the Navy, Special Security Projects (SSP). In 2007, they joined URS Corp as a Senior Physical Security Specialist, where they served as Deputy (Contractor) Project Manager of a 5 year, $200 million dollar physical security program for the Pentagon Reservation & National Capital Region (NCR). In 2012, they were hand-selected to stand up a new Agency division at the Raven Rock Mountain Complex (RRMC) as the Supervisory Security Specialist. In 2016, they became the Branch Manager for the Pentagon Force Protection Agency, where they were responsible for field evaluation of first-of-its-kind technologies at the Pentagon. In 2017, they joined Aventura Technologies, Inc. as the Director of Federal Programs and was responsible for multiple multi-million-dollar contracts simultaneously. In 2020, they became the Head of Physical Security Department at Diverse Solutions Group, Inc., where they were responsible for maintaining and building a multi-million-dollar client portfolio of electronic security services business. Most recently, they joined Securityhunter, Inc. in 2021 as the Manager of Special Programs, where they developed, produced, and instituted new policies, processes, and expectations in multiple areas.

Mark Peterson attended the University of Phoenix from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Security and Management.
