Winnie Miller

Winnie Miller has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Winnie has worked at SecurityMetrics since 2015, initially as a Compliance Consultant, assisting merchants with updating and renewing PCI compliance certificates. Winnie also enrolled medical-related businesses in the company's HIPAA compliance programs and educated merchants on PCI and HIPAA-related information. Winnie then transitioned to the role of Audit Coordinator, where they managed projects and organized meetings with QSAs and clients to discuss PCI audits. Winnie ensured that necessary materials were available to QSAs and that completed compliance documents were in order for submission. Currently, they hold the position of Audit Support Manager at SecurityMetrics.

In addition to their work at SecurityMetrics, Winnie has had other experiences. Winnie worked at UFC Gym Sandy as a Social Media Manager from 2014 to 2015, where they managed social media content for different clients. Before that, they worked at On Stage Social Media as a Media Specialist from 2013 to 2014, responsible for managing and researching content for social media postings and writing blog articles.

Prior to their roles in the field of marketing and compliance, Winnie had experiences in other industries. Winnie worked as a Risk Management Specialist at A Plus Benefits for a short period, paying and reconciling workers' compensation policies and processing new client paperwork. Winnie worked as an Administrative Assistant at Platt Law, PC, where they assisted the attorney in compiling trusts and other estate planning documents. Winnie also published the law firm's monthly newsletter and blog.

Winnie's earlier work experiences include roles in the tech industry. Winnie worked as Tech Support at Novell from 1993 to 1995 and at Word Perfect from 1992 to 1993. Winnie started their career as a Public Relations intern at Hal Gardiner and Associates in 1992.

Currently, Winnie Miller is also working as a writer, manager, support, event planner, and organizer for their family, where they enjoy utilizing their writing abilities to help others.

Winnie Miller obtained a BA degree in Public Relations/Communications from Brigham Young University from 1988 to 1992. Winnie also obtained a B.A. degree in Public Relations from Brigham Young University, although the start and end years for this degree were not specified. Additionally, they obtained a certification in PCIP from the PCI Security Standards Council in August 2019.
