Eric Corson has held a variety of security-related positions since 2002. Eric began their career as an Armed Nuclear Response Force with Securitas Energy USNRC, for which they attended a 14-week paramilitary training academy. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Lead Officer/Site Coordinator for U.S. Security Associates. During this time, they scheduled Officers, trained new Officers, and provided input to management for evaluations. From 2013 to 2014, Eric worked as a Public Safety Officer at The Westerly Hospital, where they created and updated forms and created an Excel software program. In 2013, they also worked as a Campus Safety and Security Officer USCGA for Chenega Corporation and as a Security Officer for Foxwoods Resort Casino. From 2017 to 2018, Eric worked as an Operations Manager for the Rhode Island Bureau of Investigation, where they wrote and reviewed security-related documents and trained subordinate security professionals. Most recently, from 2018 to the present, Eric has worked as an Armed Safety & Security Officer for SecurityRI.com, where they safeguard precious metals and stones against loss and monitors CCTV cameras and alarm systems.

Eric Corson obtained their High School Diploma in Criminology from Middletown Adult High School in 1995. In 2002, they attended the Millstone Nuclear Protective Services Academy for Nuclear Protection and Anti Terrorism. In 2013, they attended the Southeastern Connecticut Police Council for Active Shooter Response and Mechanical Breaching. In 2017, they obtained a Training Course Diploma in Mental Health Studies from the AMEDD Center and a Training Course Diploma in Sociology from Rice University. Eric also holds certifications in Opioid Overdose Response (Naloxone Hydrochloride - Narcan, 2018), Healthcare Provider BLS CPR & AED (ProTrainings, 2021), Permit To Carry Pistols and Revolvers (State of Rhode Island, 2018; State of Connecticut, 2012), Hazmat First Responder Operations Lvl II (HazMat Student, LLC, 2018), Healthcare Ergonomics (ProTrainings, 2014), Healthcare Insurance Portability And Accountability Act (HIPAA) (ProTrainings, 2014), Security Officer Permit (State of Connecticut, 2005), Oleoresin Capsicum Aerosol Training (OCAT) (Personal Protection Consultants, Inc.), Personal Protection Baton Tactics (PPBT) (Personal Protection Consultants, Inc.), and Practical And Tactical Handcuffing (Personal Protection Consultants, Inc.).
