Ian Mains

Ian Mains is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a diverse background in advisory services and management roles across various organizations. Currently serving as an Advisory Services Consultant and DFIR and OSD Engagement Manager at SecurityScorecard since January 2023, Ian has previously held significant positions including Director of Security Assurance at Devo and Senior Cyber Security Engineer at ManTech. With extensive expertise in vulnerability assessments, information assurance, and cybersecurity management, Ian has contributed to numerous projects for the US Air Force and other Department of Defense entities, showcasing proficiency in tools such as Nmap, Tenable Nessus, and Kali Linux. Ian holds a Master of Science in Information Security and Assurance from Western Governors University and has an extensive military background, including service as a Cyber Operations Technician and Senior Technical Advisor with the US Army Cyber Protection Brigade.
