Benjamin Muck has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Benjamin started their career as a Physical Education Teacher at Webster Middle School in 2002 and then became a Science Teacher and Department Chair at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools in 2004. At Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, they achieved high passing rates and significantly improved student performance on the Science End of Grade Test. In 2012, they worked as a Data Consultant/Trainer at Premier healthcare alliance, where they analyzed hospital data and provided software training to hospital members. The following year, they served as a Physics and Biology Teacher (Long Term Sub) at Lake Forest High School, developing student-centered lesson plans. From 2013 to 2017, Benjamin worked as a Professional Development Manager at Goldstar Learning, Inc, supporting administrators and teachers in assessment development and technology utilization. Benjamin then joined Securly in 2018 as a Customer Success Manager, eventually progressing to Senior Customer Success Manager, Manager of Customer Success, and currently holds the role of Director of Customer Success (East). At Securly, Benjamin worked with schools to provide web-filtering and student internet safety, focusing on bully prevention and self-harm flagged activities to ensure student safety online.

Benjamin Muck obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Movement Science from Grand Valley State University, where they studied from 1997 to 2002. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Education, specializing in Curriculum and Supervision, from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, attending from 2008 to 2009. In July 2015, they became a Google Certified Educator Level 1.
