Sunny Gupta

Sunny Gupta is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor currently serving as the General Partner of Generative Capital, a private equity firm focused on transforming late-stage SaaS companies. Previously, they were the Co-founder and CEO of Apptio, which grew from a startup to a publicly traded company and was acquired by IBM for $4.6 billion. Sunny co-founded several companies and held senior leadership roles in major organizations, including Mercury Interactive and Opsware. They continue to contribute to the industry as a board member for Gainsight and Securonix and serve on the TBM Council Board of Directors. Sunny holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of South Carolina, which honored their contributions by naming a college after them.
