Thomas Schelkens has extensive experience in the cybersecurity sector, currently serving as Teamlead for Banking Services SOC and Teamlead for Data Leakage and Application Monitoring at Secutec since June 2020. In addition, Thomas has held roles as a Banking Services Compliance SOC Use-case Developer and Security & Network Engineer at the same company. Prior experience includes an internship at IBM for a brief period in early 2020, and multiple positions as an Automation Developer at Arrow Electronics from 2017 to 2019. Thomas began professional experience at Colruyt Group in a temporary role in July 2016. Educationally, Thomas holds a Bachelor's degree in Cyber/Computer Forensics and Counterterrorism from HOWEST Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen, completed in 2020.
