Cybersecurity Program Analyst at Sedara

Christopher Bruns has a diverse work experience. From 2015 to 2020, they worked at Regatta Bay Golf and Yacht Club, starting as an Assistant Golf Professional before becoming the Head Golf Professional. In these roles, they gained experience in tournament operations, staff management, and familiarity with various golf software and GPS systems.

In 2021, Bruns joined Sedara Security as a Cybersecurity Program Analyst. In this role, they are involved in cybersecurity program management and advisory engagements, project management of security assessments and audits, and the development of cybersecurity policies and procedures. Christopher also performs digital forensics and imaging on client endpoints and has knowledge of various cybersecurity frameworks and regulations.

Christopher Bruns completed a 15-week, 600-hour Cybersecurity Bootcamp at the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Campbell University between 2011 and 2015. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification in February 2021. Subsequently, they obtained the CompTIA Network Vulnerability Assessment Professional – CNVP Stackable Certification in December 2022. Christopher also achieved the CompTIA PenTest+ ce Certification and the eJPT (INE) certification in the same month. In January 2016, they obtained the PGA Class A Certification from the PGA of America.
