Jason Powell

Jason Powell has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the software engineering and technology industry. Jason has served as the VP of Software Engineering at SEDDI, where they led the development of cloud-based software products for the textile and fashion supply chain. At Ping Identity, Jason was the Engineering Site Director, responsible for establishing agile processes and leading teams in designing and maintaining Ping products. Additionally, they have held positions as the President of Animax Business Consulting Ltd., President & Chair of Digital Nova Scotia, and President of Professional Quality Assurance Ltd. In these roles, Jason focused on driving growth, building relationships, and implementing strategic initiatives. Jason also has experience as the Managing Director of Keane, Inc. (Canada), leading Canadian service delivery and sales functions and generating significant bookings. Earlier in their career, Jason worked as a Project Lead/Architect at Sobeys and held leadership positions at KLJ Computer Solutions and Animax Multimedia, Inc. Jason Powell obtained a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, with a focus on Accounting, from Saint Mary's University in the period between 1989 and 1993. Jason furthered their education and earned a certification in Pragmatic Marketing at the third level (PMCIII) from Pragmatic Institute in 2018.
