Stephanie Ford

Chemical Engineer - Process Focal at Sedron Technologies

Stephanie Ford has worked in various roles since 2015. Stephanie began their career as an Aeropostale Ambassador at AMERICAN EAGLE OUTFITTERS INC. in 2016. Stephanie then moved to the University of Washington Math Study Center as a Student Assistant in 2017. In 2019, Stephanie worked as a Chemical Engineering Intern at Sedron Technologies and as a Technical Sales Intern - Food, Beverage, and Manufacturing Division at Nalco Water, An Ecolab Company. Stephanie then returned to Sedron Technologies in 2020 as a Chemical Engineer. In 2018, Stephanie worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Lidstrom Laboratory, where they performed wet-lab and molecular biology scientific research, using methods including polymerase chain reaction (PCR), plasmid construction (Gibson assembly), bacterial mating, DNA purification and reporter gene assays. Stephanie also presented research findings and collaborated with a team of researchers, as well as designed series of plasmids to evaluate function of seven promoter sequences in methanotroph M. buryatense 5GB1C.

Stephanie Ford graduated from the University of Washington in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering.
