The quest to find a solution to a skippers seasickness has been a project spanning many years, but with recent technology advantages with portable Virtual Reality becoming available the project really kicked off in 2017.

Extensive research has been undertaken into the causes of seasickness, and the possible use of Virtual Reality to eliminate the symptoms and furthermore train the brain in to accepting the vessels movement as normal, but soon a roadblock was reached, it just didn’t work correctly. After many painstaking months of investigation and trials a breakthrough was found, we were missing a vital source of data reference – the vessel itself. Another year of research, testing and improvements resulted in our flagship companion to the See-LEVEL headset – the SLDC, a computer that is tuned to your vessel and streams data to the headsets.
