Tim Hartley has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Tim is currently serving as the Vice President of Product Marketing at SeeChange Technologies since November 2020. During their time there, they provided training and multimedia consultancy to the BBC, developed multimedia promotional and entertainment tools for the BBC, and worked on various learning consultancy projects for organizations such as Cambridge University and The Association for the Understanding of Science.

Tim managed a team of in-house and external multimedia and traditional media production staff and developed major enterprise-wide projects aimed at transforming the BBC into an online learning corporation. Tim also co-founded and led the Interactive Training Unit at BBC Television Training and worked as an Assistant Producer at BBC Training.
Before their time at the BBC, Tim worked as a Multimedia Programmer at The Multimedia Corporation in London and the BBC Interactive Television Unit. Tim started their career as a Programmer Analyst at Cavendish Ltd, where they were responsible for maintaining and developing the company's in-house trading application and managing bespoke software projects.
