SEED Madagascar
Stephen Long is a highly experienced researcher and project manager with a strong background in ecology and sustainable fisheries. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Zoological Society of London, Stephen has also worked as the Project Oratsimba Research Co-ordinator for Azafady SEED Madagascar, overseeing community-based fisheries management projects. Additional roles include Lecturer and Database Manager at Operation Wallacea, where responsibilities encompassed ecological monitoring and student supervision, and a PhD candidate at UCL researching sustainable fishing impacts in Greenland. Stephen's earlier experience includes positions in project consultancy, field surveying, and audit roles at Deloitte, complemented by educational qualifications in Conservation and Biodiversity, and Biology from Durham University and the University of Exeter.
