Hailey Abbey has a diverse background in marketing, communications, and event planning. Hailey is currently working as the Digital Communications and Engagement Coordinator at Seed Savers Exchange. Prior to this, Hailey worked at Luther College in various roles, including Marketing and Trade Buyer. Hailey also has experience working at the Humane Society of Northeast Iowa and interning at the Iowa House of Representatives. Hailey is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree at The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, after completing their Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science at Luther College. Hailey's work experience showcases their skills in social media content creation, event planning, and marketing initiatives.

Seed Savers Exchange is a nonprofit organization leading in preserving and distributing heirloom vegetables, herbs, flowers and plants. Seed Savers Exchange is a member supported organization of gardeners and plant collectors who save and share heirloom seeds, thereby preserving our garden heritage. At the 890-acre Heritage Farm near Decorah, Iowa, we maintain one of the largest collections of open-pollinated heirloom varieties in the United States.
