George Simion

George Simion has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. George most recently served as the Chief Technology Officer at SeedBlink starting in August 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Engineering at Verifone from September 2020 to August 2021. George also worked at 2Checkout (now Verifone), where they held various roles including Director of Software Engineering, Software Engineering Manager, Technical Lead, Release Manager, Scrum Master, and Senior Software Engineer from 2015 to 2020. George has also worked at Coinzone as the Director of Engineering from February 2014 to August 2015, at PayU Romania in roles such as Software Development Technical Lead, Scrum Master, and Software Development Team Leader from 2008 to 2014, at Warner Howlett Media S.R.L. as a Project Manager from August 2006 to December 2008, at Internet Corp as a Software Engineer from December 2004 to July 2006, and at eJobs Romania as a Software Engineer from March 2004 to November 2004.

George Simion obtained a Bachelor's degree in Images, Patterns and Artificial Intelligence from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest from 2003 to 2008. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Artificial Intelligence from Colegiul National Nicolae Balcescu from 1999 to 2003. Additionally, George Simion has obtained certifications including CSM I from Scrum Alliance in 2013 and Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org in 2012.
