David Baratech Penina

David Baratech Penina is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in the technology and startup sectors. Currently, David serves as co-Founder and co-CEO at YABA since November 2020 and as a Founding Partner at Toubkal Partners, a local venture capital firm focused on seed-stage investments. David has been a mentor at SeedRocket, a startup accelerator in Barcelona, since May 2012. Previously, David co-founded Ulabox, an online grocery store acquired by Rohlik, and held the position of Director of Business Development at Trovit.com. Early in the career, David contributed to business development in the public health sector at T-Systems Iberia, started as a UX/UI Consultant at Escola d'Arquitectura La Salle, and worked in R+D Business Development at Amena Telecommunications. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a Master's degree in Multimedia Engineering from La Salle BCN.
