Manki Son

Manki Son is a Senior Manager of Business Strategy at Seegene, where they develop business strategies and manage strategic alliances in the biotechnology and diagnostics sectors. Previously, Manki served as a Postdoctoral Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, focusing on implantable optical nanosensors for brain cancer monitoring. They also held a visiting scholar position at the University of California, Berkeley, where they developed nano-bio interfaces, and worked as a consultant for Azztek One, Inc., introducing R&D strategies for lung cancer detection. Manki's military service as a Sergeant in the Republic of Korea Army included specialized chemical work. They are currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Bioengineering at Seoul National University, alongside their Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Biological Engineering from Inha University.
