25 years experience in the field of providing technical adaptations to people with sight difficulties has brought us to a new chapter.
Pamtrad Customs has been formed to continue the search for the most up-to-date, reliable and cost effective solutions and make them available in the UK. It is this enthusiasm that has helped thousands of people already and enabled the UK to boast, being one of the most privileged and well-equipped countries in the world.
The roots of Pamtrad Customs was Visionaid Systems Ltd, that was 22 years ago, which eventually became part of Telesensory. Then continued as Concept Systems. 12 years later Tieman/Optelec purchased the company. That was just over 5 years ago. Now Pamtrad Customs is continuing the quest for fair deals.
Our aim is to cut through the high prices without compromising on quality. This isn’t an easy task, please take a look at the products on this web site and I’m sure you’ll agree that they represent outstanding value.
All the electronic magnifiers have been deliberately designed to be user friendly to everyone from young children to older technophobes. The controls are large and soft touch making them easy to use; they are also mounted at eye level and not in the way of any reading material. In short they are as advanced as present technology will allow.
We are confident enough to even offer a no quibble 3 year warranty on the majority of our systems.
