James Wright

James Wright is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as the Engineering Director - Hirer at SEEK since June 2011. In this role, James leads the software engineering efforts for the Hirer side of the SEEK marketplace, managing a robust team and driving revenue-generating initiatives. Previous positions include Head of Engineering, where James oversaw multiple sub-domains across Asia, and Delivery Manager, responsible for cross-functional product engineering teams. James also has experience as a Technical Project Manager, Architecture Team Lead, and Solution Architect, delivering significant technical advancements at SEEK. Prior to SEEK, James founded Konnetic, served as a Software Architect at Nomura, and worked as a Development DBA at UBS. Education includes a Master of Science in Computer Science from Monash University and an MBA from Macquarie University.
