Lauren Mack

Lauren Mack is an experienced journalist with a focus on travel and culture. Lauren began their career in 2000 as a freelance journalist, contributing to in-flight magazines and websites such as EVA Air's En Voyage, Seeker, Time Out USA, and Thrillist. In 2022, Lauren started working as a contributing writer for Insider, Inc., where they report and writes travel stories, particularly about cruising, and also handles photography for each story. Additionally, they work as a contributing writer for Thrillist, a freelance writer for Time Out USA, a writer and brand ambassador for Seeker, a contributor for BestColleges, a writer for Culture Trip, a writer for TripSavvy, and a writer for KAYAK. Throughout their career, Lauren has exhibited strong writing and editing skills, covering a range of topics within the travel industry.

Lauren Mack's education history is as follows:

Lauren attended Florida Atlantic University from 1996 to 2000 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication. In 2002, they studied abroad at Eastern Michigan University, focusing on European Cultural History.

Lauren then returned to Florida Atlantic University in 2002 and completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities.

In 2003, Lauren participated in the Semester At Sea / ISE program, studying abroad again.

Later, they pursued their Master of Science degree in Journalism at Columbia University - Graduate School of Journalism.

Additionally, Lauren obtained a certification in Fundamentals of Social Media from Muck Rack in June 2020.
