Dave Turner

Dave Turner has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Dave currently serves as the Business Development Director Asia Pacific at SeekOps Inc. since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Impact Selector International as the Region Manager Asia Pacific from September 2016 to October 2022. Dave also held the position of Managing Director at Asia Pacific Drilling Services (APDS) Vietnam Ltd for a brief period from February 2016 to August 2016.

Before these roles, Turner worked at Baker Hughes in various capacities. Dave served as the Operations Support Director from April 2013 to April 2015, responsible for establishing and expanding support functions in Angola. As the Operations Director from April 2013 to May 2014, they oversaw multiple product lines and faced challenges related to workforce growth and process standardization. Prior to that, they served as the Competency Assurance Manager Asia Pacific, Formation Evaluation Manager for the SE Asia geomarket, Operations Manager, District Manager for Vietnam/Thailand, and Wireline Field Engineer, all in different time periods.

Throughout their career, Turner has demonstrated skills in business planning, cost control, profit and loss management, contract management, and resource management. Dave has successfully managed operational challenges, regulatory compliance, and cultural diversity in various locations.

Dave Turner obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Integrated Engineering from the University of Wales, Cardiff from 1994 to 1998. Prior to that, they completed their A-Levels in Maths, Physics, and Geography at Newton Abbot Sixth Form from 1991 to 1993. In 2012, Dave pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at Imperial College London, which they completed in 2015.

Dave Turner also holds the UK Chartered Engineer CEng certification from the Engineering Council, obtained in August 2016. Additionally, they have the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification from the Project Management Institute, obtained in February 2021. Dave is also a Malaysia Talent Pass residence pass holder, awarded by Talent Corporation Malaysia Berhad (TalentCorp) in February 2021.
