Julia Melo

Julia Melo has over 16 years of work experience in software engineering and management roles. Julia is currently serving as the Principal Software Engineering Manager at SeekOut since September 2022. Prior to that, they were the Software Engineering Manager at Meilynx from May 2020 until September 2022.

Julia also worked at BlackRock as a Software Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer from June 2013 to March 2020, where they specialized in architecting and building Angular Single Page Applications (SPAs) focusing on data visualization with D3 and SVG.

Before joining BlackRock, Julia worked as a Full-stack Developer at Superb Internet from December 2011 to July 2013, where they developed and maintained client-facing website pages and applications using JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, HTML, PHP, and MySQL.

Julia's earlier experience includes working as a Frontend Developer at Autonomy, an HP company from March 2009 to October 2011, and as a Solutions Engineer at Interwoven from October 2007 to March 2009. Julia started their career as a Template Developer at Optimost in 2005, where they designed and tested website templates, implemented new code, and optimized clients' websites.
