Sam Shaddox

Sam Shaddox is currently the VP of Legal at SeekOut. Prior to that, Sam was the Associate General Counsel and Assistant Secretary at OfferUp from March 2021 to March 2022. Before that, Sam was at TechGC. Sam's longest previous position was at Big Fish Games, where they were the Senior Director & Associate General Counsel, Legal - Business Affairs from January 2017 to March 2021. In this role, Sam provided strategic and day-to-day support to individual business units and executive team, managed and met aggressive internal timelines and juggle priorities in a fast-moving environment while driving strategic initiatives and process improvements, summarized technical and non-technical information to key stakeholders to facilitate understanding of contract scope, nuances and business risk, provided general commercial advice and legal support for product development and regulatory compliance, including GDPR and other privacy matters, supervised, onboarded and trained members of legal team (attorneys and paralegals), and managed outside counsel. Prior to their time at Big Fish Games, Sam was at TechGC.

Sam Shaddox's educational career began with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Washington State University. Sam then went on to obtain their Doctor of Law from the University of Washington with honors and as a member of the Order of the Coif.

They are on a team with Kristin Scott - Chief Revenue Officer, Jenny Armstrong-Owen - VP, People, and Amy Barone - VP, Marketing. Sam Shaddox reports to Anoop Gupta, CEO & Co-Founder.
