Iris Rubin has been working in the medical field since 2011. Iris started their career as a Dermatologist and Medical Director of Dermatologic and Vascular Laser Surgery Program at the Children's National Medical Center. In 2014, they became the Founder and Chief Medical Officer of SEEN Hair Care, a luxury skin-caring hair care brand. SEEN's patented formulas are clinically proven to be both non-comedogenic and non-irritating.
Iris Rubin attended Stanford University from 1992 to 1995, where they earned a B.A. in Human Biology. Iris then went on to Harvard Medical School, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in 2000.

Dr. Rubin started SEEN because she was frustrated with breaking out on her face after getting her hair done. She soon realized that her hair products were causing her breakouts. SEEN’s patented formulas apply skin science to hair care and are clinically proven to be non-irritating and not clog pores. Consistent with our mission of helping people feel better about being SEEN, we support laser clinics in developing countries that treat children with disfiguring birthmarks and scars, addressing significant medical issues and helping kids to feel better about being “seen” in the world.
