Ben Bishop

Ben Bishop has extensive work experience in the field of enterprise analytics and AI. Ben currently holds the position of Director of Strategic Growth, Enterprise Analytics & AI at Seeq Corporation. In this role, they utilize their technical expertise and business acumen to turn customer visions into reality and drive value for customers and business growth. Prior to this, Ben served as a Principal Solution Architect and Senior Solution Architect at Seeq Corporation, where they examined enterprise analytics architecture and positioned Seeq as an accelerator for all analytics workflows, including machine learning.

Before joining Seeq, Ben worked at Siemens as the Chief Digital Architect, where they played a key role in architecting an industrial analytics platform for Siemens Energy's Digitalization business. Ben conceptualized the back-end architecture and data model and established a vision for a flexible front-end application to enhance customer experience. Additionally, they worked in the field of business model development at Siemens.

Earlier in their career, Ben worked at Emerson as an Integrated Operations Center Manager, responsible for the growth and operation of the Austin Integrated Operations (iOps) Center. Ben also worked as a Process Systems Engineer - Business Development, providing support to the global sales channel and developing technical content for the Integrated Operations Center.

Ben began their career at Control Southern Inc. as a DeltaV Systems Engineer, where they executed project work and handled DeltaV systems' graphics and logic. Ben also served as a Partner at Southern Trading Partners & Consultants, where they worked as an Institutional Corporate Bond Trader and Analyst, developing proprietary bond models and leveraging technology infrastructure for efficient trading.

Throughout their career, Ben has demonstrated expertise in enterprise analytics architecture, industrial data stores, and data modeling. Ben has a strong track record of driving growth and delivering value to customers through the application of analytics and AI technologies.

Ben Bishop attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1994 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. In December 2021, they also obtained the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
