Igor Vernik

Igor Vernik has extensive work experience in the field of technical staff and testing and measurements. Igor began their career as a Visiting Scientist at the University of Rochester in 1997. Igor then joined HYPRES, Inc in 1999 as a Member of Technical Staff, where they worked until 2008. In 2009, they became a Senior Scientist at Raytheon BBN Technologies, before returning to HYPRES, Inc in 2010. At HYPRES, Inc, they initially held the role of Member of Technical Staff from 2010 to 2015, and later advanced to Senior Member of Technical Staff from 2015 to 2019. In 2019, they joined Seeqc US as the Director of Testing and Measurements, where they are currently employed.

Igor Vernik completed their education in the field of Physics. Igor first attended the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT) from 1985 to 1991, where they obtained a Master's degree (MS) in General and Applied Physics. After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at the Institute of Solid State Physics, Russian Academy of Sciences from 1991 to 1997. Igor obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physics during this period.
