Field Service Engineer II at Seer

Daniel Kim has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Daniel is currently working as a Field Service Engineer at Seer since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Curative from January 2020 to October 2021, where they held the position of Automation Support Engineer/Manager. In this role, they collaborated with QA, lab operations, supply chain, and other automation departments to maintain daily sample capacity. Daniel also provided leadership to automation support engineers in the DC lab and trained and managed new automation engineers. Prior to that, they worked at Inova Health System as a Medical Laboratory Technologist from October 2018 to September 2020. In this role, they conducted timely specimen collection and biobanking for clinical and genetic studies and managed specimen data using various software tools. Daniel also has research experience as a Researcher at VCU Health from September 2015 to August 2017. Their research focused on analyzing proteins, studying the impact of Insulin-like growth factor-binding protein 3 (IGFBP-3) on cell signaling in cancer and obesity, and utilizing microscopy techniques for cancer phenotype determination.
