David Rickards

David Rickards is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in finance and governance, currently serving as a Non-Executive Director at Sefa (Social Enterprise Finance Australia) since November 2020 and as a member of the Investment Committee at NSW Treasury Corporation since July 2017. Rickards holds key leadership roles as Chair of SEFA Partnerships Ltd. and Non-Executive Chair of both NAOS Emerging Opportunities Company Ltd. and NAOS Absolute Opportunities Company Ltd. Additionally, Rickards contributes to the philanthropic sector as a Non-Executive Director of the Australian Environmental Grantmakers Network and serves as a Trustee of the Australian Museum Foundation. With a background in civil and structural engineering, combined with an MBA in Accounting and Finance from The University of Queensland, Rickards has a strong foundation in both technical and financial disciplines.
