Jonny Peterson

Jonny Peterson is the Design Director at Gensler, where they leverage over 10 years of experience to create story-driven design programs that enhance client brand strategies. Previously, as a Senior Brand Designer, Jonny revitalized the design studio in Los Angeles, tripling its size and revenue, and earning multiple awards, including the IIDA Best of Asia Pacific 2018 for the Hyundai Card Studio Black. Since transitioning to the DC office, Jonny has continued to excel, winning the Rethink Dupont competition with a sculptural public art design. In addition to their design work, they contribute to the industry as the Co-Chair of the SEGD DC Chapter and volunteer for Dupont Underground. Jonny holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Art Center College of Design.
